PORT Moresby City Markets will be celebrating nearly six years of operation as a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) avenue for venders to sell their goods.
According to a statement from Pom City Markets, the commitment of the National Capital District Commission, local business associations and the community has helped create an environment for SMEs to market their products in an area that is safe, secure and appealing to customers wishing to buy from local SMEs and to encourage market demand. “The markets are an integral part of the city’s identity, reflecting its entrepreneurial spirit and providing a unique experience for residents and tourists alike,” it stated.
This Saturday, the PNG National Museum and Art Gallery will host the Pom City Markets for its sixth straight year.
“The bustling marketplace is a treasure trove offering unique products, delightful experiences, and the opportunity to connect with passionate local entrepreneurs,” the statement said.
