Fears of illegal settlements

CONGRATULATIONS to the Government and those who have realised their vision of connecting the Highlands and Papuan regions through the construction of a highway that runs from Southern Highlands to Gulf.
However, the only question now is, are there any laws in place to prevent settlements from springing up everywhere, tribal fights, land grabbing, overstaying and many other issues that come along with such developments.
Papuans are peaceful people and those coming in from other regions must not bring their bad attitudes into the region.

Concerned
