Efficiency, a let-down for PNG Kapuls

Letters

IN Papua New Guinea’s match against Tahiti in the Oceania Football Confederation Nations Cup in Suva, PNG should have won that match, which ended 1-1.
After Tahiti get the first goal in the 15th minute, good play up front by Ati Kepo gave Pala Paul, the midfielder, the chance in the 25th minute to level the score.
The fact is that the PNG men had so many chances but just did not make them count.
Numerous shots made by the Kapuls forwards and midfielders did not find the back of the net.
Getting a draw in that game was a relief after the thrashing by Fiji.
But still a win was possible.
Some of the Fijian supporters who were sitting beside me at the HFC Bank Stadium stand to watch the game also said PNG should have won the game.
We hope coach Warren Moon and his management team are now working on a very good game plan for the next matches.
We wish the PNG Kapuls all the best in their preparation for their next games.
Go PNG Kapuls!
