STARTING today (July 1), PNG Power Limited will starting disconnecting power supply to its credit meter customers with outstanding bills.
Acting chief executive officer Nehemaiah Naris said the defaulting customers have been repeatedly informed and urged to settle their outstanding payments, but have failed to do so.
“Our credit meter customers are regularly billed and advised of their overdue balances, yet we can no longer afford to wait any longer,” Naris said in a statement
“Some of these customers have unpaid bills dating back several months, and we will not tolerate this any further.”
