Digicel invests K50m in the Highlands region: Official

 DIGICEL Foundation has so far invested a total of K50 million in the Highlands region to build classrooms and other projects.

The foundation’s senior programme manager Helen Haro and community development managerHane Toua were in  Mt Hagen yesterday at the opening of the Kimininga Police Barracks Elementary School double classroom funded by the foundation. The classroom cost K175,000. Haro said the foundation moved throughout the country to support people through projects.

She said the Highlands area received K50 million to establish classrooms, community projects and mobile clinics.

“Digicel is helping to develop projects at the village level where the population can benefit,” she said.
