Company donates forklift to Lae institute

A NEW 2.5 tonne forklift worth K100,000 will help the Multi Skills of Training Institute in Lae, Morobe, cut down expenses, says institute director Shadrach Anderson.
Anderson, during the donation by Huon Logistics Ltd recently, said they would no longer need to hire a forklift and added that the vehicle would help develop students’ learning.
Huon Logistics representatives Attila Berenyi and Alexander Tioni,said they were thrilled to support the institute in their mission to develop the skills of young Papua New Guineans.
“This donation is a testament to our commitment to giving back to the community and contributing to the growth and development of the logistics sector in PNG,” Berenyi said.
He said that it was one of the community services that the company was doing to enhance students’ training and to prepare them for field jobs.
Berenyi added that the company was dedicated to providing high-quality services and supporting the development of the logistics industry in the country.
He added that the donation aimed to enhance the training capabilities of the institution, providing students with necessary skills to excel in the logistics and transportation industry.
