BOROKO Motors on Monday introduced another two of China’s Great Wall Motors (GWM) vehicles to the market – the Tank 500 and the Tank 300 sports utility vehicles (SUVs).
In a previewing event in Port Moresby, Boroko Motors dealer principal Tony Barlow said the two additions to the other GWM line-up in PNG included the Haval H6, Jolion and Poer Utility.
“GWM has emerged as a global leader in automotive innovation, and we are proud to announce these cutting-edge vehicles to the PNG market.
“The Tank series evidences GWM’s commitment to quality, performance, sustainability and driving pleasure,” Barlow said.
In 2023, GWM achieved remarkable success with more than 1.23 million vehicles sold worldwide, with over 300,000 attributed to sales into international markets.
The company’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its expanding lineup of hybrid and electric vehicles.
GWM also brings affordability, technology, design and safety to a broad range of the motor vehicle market.
Barlow said the Tank 300 and Tank 500 were set to redefine the SUV segment in PNG.
“The GWM Tank series will officially launch in PNG later this year. “Pricing for the Tank range will start from K170,000,” he said.
The Tank 300 is a five-seat SUV that offers a unique blend of luxury and ruggedness, catering to both city commuters and off-road explorers.
