57 baptised at crusade

A WEEK-LONG national divine release crusade held by the Sabbath Truth Restoration movement in Jiwaka saw 57 people baptised and at least 80 others repent.
The launching of the missionary sending programme coincided with the opening of a new church building.
Members from all over the country came for the crusade that was held at Kanjip village in the Kudjip local level government area of South Waghi.
The crusade was seen as crucial to advance the evangelisation of the end-time, 11th-hour kingdom gospel and its invasion in all parts of Papua New Guinea as well as Australia, West Papua and the Solomon Islands.
The church leaders conducted the baptism at the Waghi River between Kudjip and Banz, opened the church at Waghi Kona and launched the missionary sending programme at Kanjip.
Three missionary boys who came from Western, a mother from West Papua who travelled to Jiwaka via Tari and a boy who flew in from the Solomon Islands were among those baptised.
Nine missionaries from Jiwaka were commissioned to be sent to Northern, Kimbe, Rabaul and Kavieng this month, followed by the overseas commissioning.
Membership to the Sabbath Truth Restoration movement is growing rapidly.
“Nobody is forcing you to join. It is the Holy Spirit who is leading this move by trying to reveal the truth,” Pastor John Du said.
